Acadia National Park: Cadillac Mountain vehicle reservation
A vehicle reservation is required to drive Cadillac Summit Road during the peak season. It is separate from the park entrance pass.

- Reservation season: Vehicle reservations are required on Cadillac Summit Road from May 20 through October 25, 2026.
- Cost and sales channel: Reservations cost $6 and are sold only on Recreation.gov. They are not sold at the park.
- Release schedule: Thirty percent of reservations open 90 days ahead. Seventy percent open at 10:00 am Eastern Time two days ahead.
Do you need a Cadillac Summit Road vehicle reservation?
Buy a vehicle reservation on Recreation.gov if you plan to drive Cadillac Summit Road from May 20 through October 25, 2026. You also need a park entrance pass. Reservations are not required if you arrive on foot, by bicycle, or by taxi. Download or print your confirmation before you arrive. Cell service is unreliable in the park.
