This page lists official National Park Service alerts for roads, trails, facilities, and park-wide closures. The alert text is copied from NPS feeds. Safety warnings are not shortened.

Methodology and sources

np.guide polls the National Park Service Alerts API and Parks API about once per hour. Published field guides also refresh their own NPS alert monitors. Those updates go into the same archive. Machine-readable active facts for monitored parks are at /feeds/alerts.json. Each alert is stored with the official NPS alert id. When an alert is no longer in the feed, this page marks it inactive and keeps the text in the park archive.
